Since 1st January 2023, the Baltic Sea resorts of Baabe, Göhren, Mönchgut and Sellin have defined a uniform tourist tax. This tax is used, for example, to maintain the playgrounds, monitor bathing water quality and provide free public toilets.
Your tourist card brings you many perks! It is e.g. free ticket for the buses of the VVR, local buses and trains and you can visit many events for free.
