General Terms and Conditions

The basis of the general terms and conditions for the campsite Thiessow are:

• the price list
• the payment conditions
• the campsite regulations
• the German Civil Code (BGB)

Reservations:
Reservations are made on written or telephone request or by online booking and are considered binding when the deposit requested in the booking confirmation has been received in the specified account. If the deposit is not paid on time, the reservation becomes invalid without the guest being warned or informed.

Final payment:
The pitch fee for the entire period of the intended stay must be paid on the day of arrival (in cash or by EC card). Payment of additional costs is due on the day of departure.

Cancellation:
Cancellation free of charge is possible up to 14 days before the date of arrival. In the event of a late cancellation or no-show, your deposit will be retained as a cancellation and processing fee.

Arrival:
The booked pitch is available from 11:00 a.m. on the day of arrival. The midday rest period from 13:00 to 15:00 should be taken into account. Pitches that are not occupied by 7 p.m. on the day of arrival and for which no agreement has been made regarding later occupancy can be used by us for other purposes. There is then no longer any entitlement to a pitch. Caravan and motorhome owners are obliged to provide proof of a valid gas test.

Departure:
The pitch must be vacated and clean by 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure. In the event of an early departure, there is no entitlement to a refund of fees. This also applies to an expulsion due to a violation of the campsite regulations. However, this does not apply if a medical certificate is presented.

Visit:
The pitch may only be used by the number of people registered. Visitors can only access the campsite after registering at reception.

Restrictions on admission:
Young people under the age of 18 are only permitted to camp unaccompanied by an adult with the written consent of a parent or guardian.

Insurance:
The tourist administration of the municipality of Mönchgut, as the operator of the campsite, assumes no liability for damage to and in the facilities set up and the vehicles parked.

Pitch allocations:
Every request will be taken into account, but there is no legal right to a specific pitch. The site management reserves the right to make changes due to operational needs.

Information:
Information provided by our employees over the telephone is non-binding and therefore requires written confirmation.

Liability:
Every guest undertakes to treat the inventory and the pitch with care. They are obliged to compensate for any damage caused by them, their companions or guests during their stay.

Change in pricing information:
We reserve the right to change all prices and information.

Place of performance and jurisdiction:
The place of performance and jurisdiction is the Stralsund district court.
